Company visit to membrane filtration installation
On Thursday October 14th, 2021 a second sounding board group will be organized in Boekel (the Netherlands) to explain the preliminary results of field trials. The calculation tool is also presented to the focus group. This tool provides insight into the economic side of using these fertilizers.
The focus group is followed by a lunch and in the afternoon there is the possibility to visit the membrane filtration installation of Strocon. An explanation will also be given here about machines for applying the fertilizers on agricultural plots. After the company visit there is an opportunity to chat with a snack and a drink.

INTERREG NL-VL NITROMAN
The Interreg project 'NITROMAN’ wants to investigate in the Flemish-Dutch border region whether mineral fertilizers can be extracted from the available manure surpluses. NITROMAN aims to recover significant amounts of nitrogen, potassium and water from this liquid manure fraction using innovative techniques such as stripping scrubbing and membrane filtration.
